The short version
Stillbrook Portraits makes portraits of dogs and cats from the photos their people already have. You upload a photo, see a free preview of the portrait, and only order the version that looks like your pet. Nothing prints until you approve it.
Many people want a portrait of a pet they've lost, so memorials are at the heart of the shop. Memorial portraits are a soft watercolor, with the pet's name and dates beneath if the family would like them.
How it's made
Each portrait is a digital illustration made from the customer's photo with AI tools. A person on our team checks it against the photo before it prints, and our print partner, Printful, prints it to order on gallery-wrapped canvas, as a framed print or as an unframed paper print. We say this plainly on every page. We don't call the portraits hand-painted, because they aren't.

- See it before you pay. The preview is free. Many portrait shops show a proof only after you've paid.
- Old or imperfect photos welcome. Many memorial orders start from the only photo a family has.
- A clear guarantee. Free replacement if it arrives damaged or misprinted, a free remake within 30 days if it doesn't feel like them, and a full refund if the remake still isn't right.
- Gift cards for grief. A gift card lets someone who has lost a pet choose the photo when they're ready. They never expire.
